Cloud security assessment for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud

Most cloud breaches come from misconfiguration, not from the provider. We review and test your cloud environment to find exposed data, excessive permissions and weak points an attacker could chain into a breach.

Overview

The provider secures the cloud. Securing what you build on it is up to you

Cloud platforms give teams speed, but every new account, storage bucket, role and function is also a setting that can be wrong. Under the shared responsibility model, those settings are your responsibility.

Our assessment combines a configuration review against the CIS Benchmarks and provider best practices with hands-on testing of what an attacker could actually reach and do, including from a compromised user or workload.

What you receive

  • Executive summary for leadership, with an overall risk rating
  • Technical findings with severity (CVSS), evidence and step-by-step reproduction
  • Findings mapped to CIS Benchmarks for your provider
  • Remediation guidance your developers and engineers can act on
  • Debrief call to walk your team through the results
  • Complimentary re-test to confirm each issue is fixed
Scope

What we assess

Identity & access

IAM roles and policies, privilege-escalation paths, unused and over-privileged accounts, and MFA.

Data storage

Public or weakly protected buckets, databases and snapshots, and encryption settings.

Network exposure

Security groups, firewall rules, exposed management ports and internet-facing services.

Logging & monitoring

Whether audit logging, alerting and detection would catch an attack in progress.

Workloads & containers

Virtual machines, Kubernetes, serverless functions and container images.

Secrets & keys

Hard-coded credentials, key management and how secrets are stored.

How it works

The Digital Fortress protocol

Every engagement follows a disciplined, repeatable protocol, governed by signed rules of engagement so your operations stay protected throughout.

Phase 01

Reconnaissance & planning

We map your footprint, confirm targets and agree scope and rules of engagement in writing.

Phase 02

Identification & analysis

Automated scanning plus deep manual analysis pinpoints weaknesses, including business-logic flaws tools miss.

Phase 03

Exploitation & validation

Under controlled conditions we safely exploit findings to prove real-world impact, with no disruption.

Phase 04

Reporting & re-test

Executive and technical reports, a debrief with your team, and a complimentary re-test to confirm every fix.

Standards & frameworks

Mapped to the standards you report against

Findings are mapped to the frameworks your auditors and regulators use, so the report also works as compliance evidence.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which cloud providers do you assess?

Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, plus private and hybrid environments. Multi-cloud estates can be covered in one engagement.

What access do you need?

Usually read-only access (for example a security-audit role) for the configuration review, plus agreed test accounts or workloads for hands-on testing. We never need your root or global-admin credentials.

Do we need permission from the cloud provider?

AWS, Azure and Google Cloud let customers test their own resources for most common test types without prior approval, within their published policies. We plan testing to stay inside those rules.

Is this a one-off assessment or ongoing?

Most clients start with a one-off assessment and repeat it after major changes or annually. We can also review infrastructure-as-code before it is deployed.

Network Penetration Testing

Probe internal and external networks for entry points, lateral movement paths, and configuration flaws attackers exploit.

API Security Testing

Verify APIs against injection, authorization bypass, and data exposure. APIs are the layer most modern breaches target.

Web App Penetration Testing

Uncover vulnerabilities in public-facing and internal web platforms before attackers reach them, including injection, broken auth, and logic flaws.

Secure Software Development

We don't just test software, we build it. Custom web, mobile, API and cloud software engineered secure from the first line of code, with security woven through every stage of the SDLC.
